I am delighted to share that my story and activity book is now available on Amazon.

I wrote this many years ago when my daughter was diagnosed with Autism, and over the years, it has taken many forms. Now I am proud to offer this as post-diagnostic support to help children understand themselves better.

I believe every child deserves to feel seen and understood. When children understand their differences, they are better able to recognise their strengths.

Lily’s Story and Activity Book combines a short story with thoughtfully designed activities to create a practical, visually supportive companion for understanding neurodivergence. It offers a framework to help children learn about neurodiversity in an accessible, child-friendly way while encouraging them to identify personal strengths and areas of difficulty, explore emotions and sensory experiences, develop self-advocacy skills, and build confidence and a positive sense of identity.

Penguins and Pigeons: A Bird's Tale story and activity book is suitable for children aged 6 and above. It has been created not only for young readers but also for siblings, classmates, and family members, supporting shared understanding and empathy. It is a valuable resource for parents, carers, educators, and professionals seeking to help children recognise and understand neurodiversity.

Informed by lived experience as a neurodivergent therapist and parent, the book also draws on professional practice and study in Occupational Therapy, Sensory Integration Theory, Neuroscience, Neurodiversity, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, as well as clinical experience as a neurodevelopmental diagnostician.
