School observation from £450.00 Face-to-face observation of the young person in their school environment, discussion with educators and measures to be gathered by both home and school. This observation can be used to provide supporting evidence of needs that may be overlooked in a busy environment. Includes a summary of findings.

Sensory Assessment-Child ages 6-12 from £750.00 May include - A pre-assessment questionnaire, a home or school visit to gather natural observations, completion of the Sensory Processing Measure 2 (SMP2) and the Pediatric Evaluation of Disability Inventory Computer Adaptive Test (PEDI-CAT). Multidimensional Assessment of Interoceptive Awareness Youth Version (MAIA-Y). Accompanying report- including a visual representation of their sensory profile and supportive strategies.

Motor co-ordination Assessment -Child ages 8-16 from £1,000 May include - A pre-assessment questionnaire, Movement ABC-3 standardised assessment to identify Motor Coordination Difficulties in Children & Young Adults. Tests of Ayres Sensory Integration®. Completion of the Sensory Processing Measure 2 (SMP2). Pediatric Evaluation of Disability Inventory Computer Adaptive Test (PEDI-CAT), Detailed Assessment of Speed of Handwriting (DASH-2). Links with a private GP* to review and ( where appropriate) confirm a diagnosis. * An independent service. Accompanying report- including a visual representation of their sensory profile and supportive strategies.

Post-Diagnostic Support- £POA Neurodiversity-based post-diagnostic support sessions to assist in processing a diagnosis and provide an overview of need. May include a sensory assessment, autism profile and Access To Work coping skills. Includes a workbook and accompanying report, with recommendations such as appropriate further assessments and suggested accommodations for work or education. Support for parents processing the diagnosis of their child. Bespoke resources such as personalised social narratives and for ACT/OT coaching £-POA. Children and Adolescent Mental Health Reviews- £750.00 Wait times for children’s mental health services are significant. A holistic assessment could take place within your home, the child’s school or at JBOT-UK’®s base. This assessment is not intended to be diagnostic of any condition but rather to provide an overview of difficulties and evidence from reports, observations and the results of various measures, some of which are outlined below. This may include: International Trauma Questionnaire – Child and Adolescent Version (ITQ-CA), Emotion Regulation Checklist (ERC), World Health Organisation Disability Assessment Schedule – Children and Youth version (WHODAS-Child), Pediatric Evaluation of Disability Inventory Computer Adaptive Test (PEDI-CAT), Depression Anxiety Stress Scales – Youth Version (DASS-Y), Obsessional Compulsive Inventory – Child Self Report (ChOCI-R-S) and the Spence Children’s Anxiety Scale – Child (SCAS-Child), although this list is not exhaustive. The data can then be presented to various stakeholders in order to better demonstrate your child's need, without delay.

Neurodiversity screen from £750.00, suitable for both children and adults. This will include the completion of the Sensory Processing Measure 2 (SMP2), discussion with educators or employers if appropriate or desired, developmental history taking, with a selection of measures to be gathered across various environments including, but not limited to: The Camouflaging Autistic Traits Questionnaire (CAT-Q), Executive Skills Questionnaire-Revised (ESQ-R), Revised Child Anxiety and Depression Scale – Parent (RCADS-Parent), Toronto Alexithymia Scale (TAS), Vanderbilt ADHD Diagnostic Teacher Rating Scale (VADTRS), the Ritvo Autism Asperger Diagnostic Scale, Revised (RAADS–R) Strengths and Weaknesses of ADHD, Wender Utah rating scale (WURS) Symptoms and Normal Behaviour Scale (SWAN). This assessment s not diagnostic, however, draws on knowledge as a trained neurodevelopmental diagnostician and accredited programmes within the field. Included are a summary report and suggested supports/further actions.

Speaker at events, specific issue training for staff/schools price on request. Neurodiversity/Sensory training rate starting from: 1 hour = £450.00. Ideal for 'Lunch and learn' or as part of host of trainers 2 hours = £800.00. Ideal for an overview of a particular topic and developing staff competence. 3 hours = £1200.00. Ideal for deeper understanding and improving outcomes.

Remote assessments or Functional assessments from £650.00 This may include a pre-assessment questionnaire, remote interview or face-to-face observations. It will also include various assessments such as the World Health Organisation Disability Assessment Schedule (WHODAS), Executive Skills Questionnaire-Revised (ESQ-R), the Addenbrooke's Cognitive Examination - III (ACE III ) and the Paediatric Evaluation of Disability Inventory Computer Adaptive Test (PEDI-CAT), although assessments will be selected on a case by case basis to explore barriers to activities of daily living. These assessments may be suitable for DLA/PIP/Blue Badge/DSA supporting evidence. The report includes test findings, supportive strategies and links to wider support.

Sensory Assessment-Adolescent/Adult ages 13-87 from £750.00 May include- A pre-assessment questionnaire and The Sensory Modulation Screening Tool, (Tina Champagne) (2017).Completion of the Sensory Processing Measure 2 (SMP2), The Multidimensional Assessment of Interoceptive Awareness Version 2 (MAIA-2) (2018 ). Accompanying report- including a visual representation of their sensory profile and supportive strategies.

Please note: assessments are NOT specifically worded for an Educational Health Care Plan (ECHP) or Independent Development Plan (IDP) or tribunal.

 

JBOT-UK® covers both England and Wales, local authority and legal guidance varies by area, as such It is your responsibility to ensure that the assessment will be accepted for its intended purpose.

Contact time indicates the one-to-one time spent with the therapist, it does not include time spent reviewing pre-assessment questionnaires, subsequent clinical reasoning, case supervision or report writing. All assessments are conducted by a fully qualified and professionally insured HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist on behalf of JBOT-UK®.

 

Sensory assessments draw on Ayres Sensory Integration® training., Please ensure that the service provider you choose has appropriate training in this field.
