While many activity and resource packs lean toward the needs of children, the sensory and self-regulation needs of neurodivergent teens and young adults remain vital.
That’s precisely why I have designed this resource with their unique needs in mind, and best of all, I have made this Neurodivergent Teens and Adults Free Summer Printable Activity pack FREE to access!
What’s Inside the Pack?
• Mindful Activities: Guided exercises like mindful breathing with visual aids (e.g. tracing sun-rays) and cold-water immersion techniques to reduce anxiety through sensory engagement.
• Sensory Suggestions: A comprehensive approach leveraging all eight senses—olfactory (scents), tactile (hand massage), gustatory (fruit salad), vestibular/proprioceptive (dance, rocking), visual/auditory (beach-wave videos), and interoceptive (hydration logs).
• Affirmation Cards: Positive self-talk prompts to counter perfectionism, build resilience, and promote self-compassion.
• Problem-Solving Ideas: Guided worksheets for identifying summer challenges and brainstorming sensory-friendly solutions.
• Engaging Printables: such as “Spot the Difference,” summer-themed colouring, and word searches, to encourage mindfulness and enhance cognitive skills.

So what makes this different from other online resources?
It's the Occupational Therapy foundations supporting the pack! The pack is filled with supportive information and activities, delivered in an age-appropriate manner. these include;
• Multisensory strategies, structured around Ayres Sensory Integration, to help teens and young adults process and regulate sensory input, proven effective in OT to reduce anxiety and improve daily functioning.
• Strategies like deep breathing and cold water hand-immersion are evidence-based OT techniques for sensory and emotional regulation.
• Encouraging reflection on summer worries and generating personalised strategies aligns with goal-oriented OT interventions supporting executive function and adaptive skills
• Resources that are respectful of their developmental stage. These activities aren’t childlike; they’re thoughtfully pitched for teens and young adults
• Tools ot empower self-advocacy. Users learn to identify personal triggers (e.g. crowds, temperature) and advocate for tools like earplugs, sunglasses, routines, or safe hydration strategies.
• Ideas to build neuroplastic self-talk. Affirmations and thought-reframing foster resilience and help counter negative self-talk.
