About My Approach
I am a private occupational therapist, sensory integration practitioner, and neurodevelopmental assessor. I am a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists, HCPC registered, and Autism Aware Wales certified. My key areas of interest and experience are mental health, neurodiversity, and sensory challenges.
So, why choose private therapy?
Occupational therapy provides a unique lens through which to view life's challenges. It focuses on the strengths and potential of individuals while seeking solutions. Ideally, all the support you need would come from the institutions around you: the NHS, education, the local authority, or your employer.
Realistically, budgets are being tightened, services are reduced, and access to specialist care and understanding is scarce.
Why choose me?
I combine lived experience with academic training and clinical expertise. me, it's about supporting your empowerment, rediscovering the joy in your life, and providing the key unlock the support you need. I chose my logo, the dandelion, because although some people see it as a weed, I see potential; I see a wish.
What is your wish?
-
To access support at school or work?
-
To better manage your anxiety?
-
To be understood?
-
To finally achieve greater self-acceptance?
-
To create a sensory plan and toolbox for when things get tough?
-
To help those around you understand you better?
I don't have a magic wand, but I can offer the support you need, either remotely or face-to-face.
